Hot Zone provides three options for our occupational health and safety courses to allow your team to get the educational requirements they need:

Classroom - Training sessions at Hot Zone’s Training Centre in Cambridge, Ontario.
On-Site - Training sessions brought to your location.
Zoom Live Video - Training sessions for select theory courses.

Confined Space Entrant and Attendant Training

Confined Space Rescue Training (Entry and Non-Entry Rescue)

Learn how to perform rescue in the event an employee becomes a victim in a confined, restricted or enclosed space. We provide entry and non-entry rescue options for training.

Emergency First Aid Training - CPR Level C and AED

A 1 Day in-person training for employers with 5 or less employees per shift at a workplace.

Fall Arrest and Fall Protection Training (Provincial)

Public training dates available: 8

This 4 hour course will teaches non-construction provincial employees how to protect themselves and reduce the risks of falls in the workplace.

Federal Fall Arrest and Fall Protection Training (Federal)

4 hour hands-on practical training for Federal employers.

Federal Health and Safety Training (Canada Labour Code Part 2)

Ensure your employees are aware of the workplace health and safety obligations made under the Canada Labour Code with this training course.

Filling Propane Forklift Cylinder Training

Ensure your employees know how to safely fill forklift propane cylinders meeting the Canadian Propane Association requirements.

Fire Extinguisher Training

This training course will provide your employees with the knowledge to control hazardous energies in the workplace based on CSA Standard Z460 - Control of Hazardous Energy.

Mobile Elevating Work Platform Training "Scissor Lift and Boom"

Public training dates available: 8

This theory training program teaches operators how to move and position elevating platforms without causing accidents.

Overhead Crane Training

Public training dates available: 16

This overhead crane theory training course covers the fundamental principles and safe operating techniques for bridge, jib and gantry cranes.

Respirator Fit Testing (N95 | Half and Full Face | SCBA)

Public training dates available: 17

Get fit tested to ensure workers have the right type, style, and size of respirator. Fit testing also includes training based on CSA Standard Z94.4 Selection, Use and Care of Respirators. Fit testing and training will teach employees how to safely use respiratory personal protective equipment to filter out airborne hazards.

Respirator Fit Testing Toronto (N95 | Half and Full Face | SCBA)

SCBA Certification Training

This training course will provide SCBA certification while conforming to the Occupational Health and Safety Act and the Canada labour Code.

Standard First Aid Training - CPR Level C and AED

2 Days In-Person Classroom Training. First aid training is critical for the workplace as well as at home. Enjoy a hands-on training where you can get your questions answered.
