Blended Standard First Aid, CPR Level C and AED Training Course Summary:
How Blended Training Works: After registering online or through our head office team, registered learners will receive login access to the Online Standard First Aid Training Module. Typically, the Online Training will take 6-8 hours. Once complete, learners will then attend the 1 Day In-Person portion of Standard First Aid Training. The In-Person portion can be completed through Hot Zone's Public Training classes, or through client-site training sessions for larger groups.
First aid training is critical for the workplace as well as at home. In Ontario, employers have a legal requirement to have at least one employee trained in first aid based on the Workplace Safety and Insurance Act's Regulation 1101 - First Aid Requirements.
Who Would Benefit From This Course:
For employers with 5 or less employees per shift, Emergency First Aid Training is required.
For employers with 6 or more employees per shift, Standard First Aid Training is the required training.
This includes construction sites, central points for bush worker dispatch, and a vehicle being used by an employer to transport workers.
