Training Partner/Affiliate Program for Working at Heights – CPO Approved

Summary:

Hot Zone Training Consultants' training partners must meet specific requirements to be authorized to deliver Hot Zone’s Working at Heights – CPO approved program. Training partners or affiliates and their instructors must undergo an application and review process to gain permission to deliver the program. A Training Partner Agreement is required as the first step in the process of becoming a Hot Zone affiliate training provider.

Who will benefit:

Medium to large sized organizations that have a health and safety department that would like to offer an already approved CPO Working at Heights program at their organization that is affiliated with Hot Zone Training Consultants.

Course Content:

Train-the-Trainer – Adult teaching certification (24 hours online)

• Purpose and Assessment - Participants will understand how to conduct a needs assessment, collect and analyze data, create learning objectives and apply verbs to various levels of learning.
• Planning and Preparation - Participants will explore and understand various adult learning principles, best practices in instructional design, how to prepare content and materials and how to manage the environment and themselves.
• Presentation and Facilitation - Participants will explore various preferences for adult learning, how to establish a positive learning environment, the difference between facilitating, training, and presenting and various challenges of the profession.
• Performance and Evaluation - Participants will understand concepts of evaluation, levels of evaluation, self-assessments and how to get participants to strive for excellence.
