How Good is a 3 Layer Cloth Mask at Filtering Particulate?
We wanted to find out how well a 3 layer cloth mask would block out airborne particles. So we hooked up a TSI Porta Count to a cloth mask and had our Director of Operations, Patrick Rodgerson, put this mask to the test.
You're going to be surprised at the result, and this should help better equip you to choose the correct type of personal protective equipment (PPE) when in close quarters where there is a potential to breath in an airborne contaminant.
