With a wide range of hands-on industry experience, Steve Little brings a level of understanding and enthusiasm to his role that is second to none. As a Water Restoration Technician and Canadian National Radon Measurement Professional, Steve has exceled during his 18-year career from field technician to project manager to practice leader.
Steve began his health and safety journey specializing in occupational hygiene. He’s since amassed an impressive array of skills and know-how that have lent to his professional development, supporting his role as Hot Zone’s National Manager of Hazardous Materials and Occupational Hygiene Services.
Within his role, Steve supports property management firms and REITs, financial institutions, government bodies, boards of education and healthcare units, as well as insurance firms with managing regulatory asbestos compliance, supporting insurance claims management and building certification / indoor air quality programs (BOMA, LEED, Fitwel, WELL Standard). In addition, he also provides his skills related to contractor management, working with clients to help them meet provincial and federal regulatory requirements.
