Executive Team Building Retreats – Safety Themed

Team work is essential to the overall function of your organization. During day-to-day relationships, conflicts can arise which can be costly and disruptive to your workplace. With Bill 168 and the broader definition to harassment and violence in the workplace, these conflicts can have much more impact than previously thought. By using a fun, practical and safety themed approach, Hot Zone will assist your management team with a common sense approach to managing the diverse personalities found within the workplace and cultivating their talents into a cohesive and functional unit.

Topics to include but not limited to:

  • Understanding common methods of effective communication – what inhibits these process and how can we overcome these issues
  • Effective leadership styles – from the “Laissez-faire” leader to the “Task orientated” Leader – which approach works best in your workplace – when/how can a manager use different leadership styles to meet a particular set of circumstances
  • What is power and is power received within any workplace
  • What is conflict – what kinds of conflict would we encounter on a day-to-day basis – how can we effectively deal with conflict – what are some common conflict resolution tools
  • Bill 168 – what is this Bill and what mandatory requirements has this Bill placed in the workplace
  • Through out this session, participants will partake in numerous safety related activities designed to generate conflict and team resolution – Communication Games, Hazmat Olympics, tabletop conflict games, physical challenges
  • Let your team members experience team building in a way they have never experienced before – How many of your managers have had to perform a confined space rescue in a team building retreat before?
