WINDSOR, ON - Sun-Brite Foods Inc., a company that processes and cans field crops, has pleaded guilty and has been fined $70,000 after a seasonal farm worker was critically injured.
LONDON, ON - 1483322 Ontario Inc., carrying on business as Signature Events Rental Shoppe, pleaded guilty and was fined $100,000 after a young worker was killed and others were injured while erecting a tent for a wedding.
BARRIE, ON - Jebco Industries Inc., a company that operates a coatings, linings and moulding facility in Innisfil, has pleaded guilty and has been fined $30,000 after a worker was observed working on top of a flatbed trailer without using a safety harness or other fall protection equipment as required by law. No one was injured.
BRAMPTON, ON - Aluminart Products Litd., a business that manufactures aluminum and vinyl windows and storm doors, has pleaded guilty and has been fined $50,000 after a worker suffered amputation of part of a finger.
