INDUSTRIAL CRANE OPERATOR TRAINING

THIS COURSE COVERS ALL ASPECTS OF OPERATING PROCEDURES FOR BRIDGE, JIB OR GANTRY CRANES INCLUDING ALL APPLICABLE LEGISLTIVE REQUIREMENTS.  THE KNOWLEDGE RECEIVED BY EACH OPERATOR WILL ASSIST THEM IN SAFE AND EFFECTIVE OPERATION OF THIS EQUIPMENT.

  • APPLICABLE LEGISLATIVE REQUIREMENTS
  • OPERATION OF DIFFERENT CONTROLS
  • PERTINENT HAND SIGNALS
  • RIGGING AND SLINGING TECHNIQUES
  • PRE-SHIFT INSPECTIONS
  • SAFE LIFTING PROCEDURES
  • CRANE COMPONENTS
  • SAFE HOISTING PROCEDURES
  • LOAD LIMITS
  • TESTING LIMIT SWITCHES
  • CAB OPERATION CONTROLS

THIS COURSE IS DIVIDED INTO TWO SECTIONS.  THE FIRST SECTION WILL COVER THE THEORY PORTION OF THE TRAINING AND WILL LAST APPROXIMATELY 4 HOURS.  THE SECOND SECTION OF THIS COURSE WILL COVER THE PRACTICAL HANDS-ON TRAINING AND TESTING OF YOUR OPERATORS.
