FORKLIFT OPERATOR CERTIFICATION

THIS COURSE MEETS OR EXCEEDS CSA STANDARD B335.04 AND MINISTRY OF LABOUR COMPETENCY STANDARDS.  FURTHER THIS COURSE WILL OFFER YOUR OPERATORS THE PERTINENT INFORMATION AND SKILLS REQUIRED TO OPERATE YOUR EQUIPMENT IN A SAFE MANNER.

CSA B335.04 RECOMMENDS 8 HOURS OF THEORY FOR THE OPERATOR OF A HIGH LIFT, AND 4 HOURS OF THEORY FOR THE OPERATOR OF A LOW LIFT (ANNEX D- SUGGESTED TIMES FOR CLASSROOM AND PRACTICAL SESSIONS). THIS IS NOT A MANDATORY PART OF THE CSA STANDARD, ONLY A SUGGESTION.

HOT ZONE RECOMMEND A 4-8 HOUR THEORY SESSION BASED ON THE LEVEL OF DRIVING EXPERIENCE (4 HOURS FOR EXPERIENCED, 8 HOURS FOR NEW TRAINEES)

INTERIM PRACTICALS SHALL BE CONDUCTED AT 18 MONTH INTERVALS. FULL TRAINING SHALL OCCUR AT 3 YEAR INTERVALS (CSA B335.04)

  • PRE SHIFT OPERATIONAL INSPECTIONS
  • PRACTICAL INSTRUCTION ON PLANT SPECIFIC DEVICE (S)
